Trace Thurman

A freelance critic for Bloody Disgusting since 2015, covering film festivals like SXSW and Fantastic Fest, Trace has also co-hosted Bloody Disgusting's Horror Queers podcast since 2019. The podcast examines horror films with a queer element, be it in front of or behind the camera, and looks at non-queer horror films through a queer lens. A self-proclaimed gaymer, Trace lives by the Resident Evil, Pokemon and Legend of Zelda franchises. He lives in Denver, CO with his husband and their two dogs.
